7 Systems Engineer
(HPC, Linux & GPU Clusters) 		Educational Qualification: First class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration and IT support.
  • Administration of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud environments (OpenStack).
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall management.
  • Experience with HPC clusters, including GPU nodes:
    • Installing and managing GPU drivers/toolkits (e.g., NVIDIA CUDA stack).
    • Monitoring GPU utilization and health.
    • Supporting GPU workloads on HPC systems.
  • Storage management experience (NAS/SAN) and familiarity with enterprise storage systems and backup strategies.
  • Exposure to SLURM workload manager (job scheduling, queue management).
  • Basic database administration (SQL and MYSQL).
  • Automation and scripting experience using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, or similar).
  • Experience with open-source tools and platforms in production environments.
  • Ability to manage Smartrack racks and HPC servers and switches hosted within them.
  • Experience in handling lab administration tasks and supporting research environments.
  • Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
