About
The bootcamp on Linux infrastructure and security focuses on equipping participants with practical skills in Linux administration, infrastructure security, and automation. The program combines foundational concepts with extensive hands-on experience to build, manage, secure, and monitor modern Linux-based infrastructures.
Expected Outcomes
- Understanding of Linux architecture
- Working with Linux commands
- Administering diverse Linux infrastructures: bare-metal, virtualized, and containerized environments
- Working with QEMU-KVM (storage, network)
- Running containers with Dockers, LXDs
- Accessing Linux instances securely using ssh keys
- Securing Linux servers to comply with industry benchmarks (like CIS)
- Detecting host intrusions with Zeek or Suricata
- Automating using Bash scripting
- Security monitoring using Wazuh
- Introducing Kubernetes, Cloud (BMaaS, IaaS),
- HPC, DevOps

- All BTech/MTech/PhD students from CS/AI/ECE/EE/IT streams, M.Sc students from CS/IT, MCA students, academia and industry professionals.
- Knowledge and familiarity in computer architecture, programming, operating systems and computer networks is required.
